Towards the end of last year i was experiencing bleeding when i exercised and that never happened to me before. Following the bleeding i started to get pain on my lower left abdomen then the pain shifted to my right side, when i went to the doctor he said it might be an ovarian cyst and suggested the wait and see approach. however the pain got worse so the doctor sent me for an ultrasound and only found free fluid in the pouch of douglas. as time went on i started to develop lower back pain and the bleeding still continued finally i went to a different doctor and i was put on yasmin. even after 3 months of taking yasmin the pain continued but the bleeding stopped and i got sent for a laprascopy. All they found were small cysts and more fluid in the pouch of douglas, and they did an ultrasound which showed the fluid in the pouch of douglas, however i noticed that the fluid was a lot more than it was in the previous ultrasound and all the doctor said is that its normal, no one has actually told me whats wrong. could the increased amount of fluid in the pouch of douglas indicate that something is wrong?
