What Causes Floaters In The Eyes After An Accident?

Can Eye floaters appear 1 1/2 mos. after being thrown from vehicle.( Feb.23)
I do not believe head was hit, but have headaches and vertigo,
since accident along with other issues.
. Left eye suddenly developed floaters last night.
Already have eye appt. set up end May because last year diagnosed with eye pressure. I am 58 years old. Have struggled with migraines and vertigo on and off since car accident in my early 20's. Vertigo comes from neck.
Multiple concussions and whiplash over years. Should I see Eye Doctor sooner.

it could be a normal in this age due degenerating vitreous. it might seem little annoying initially as it gives feeling of black spots in front of eyes.but gradually you would learn ro ignore them. this doesnt need treatment.
you should not worry much if floaters are not inreasing in number or size and you can visit your doctor on due appointment
.but if it increases suddenly or is associated with decrease in vision or loss of vision then you should certainly visit dr as soon as possible.
if you have diabetes or diabetic eye disease or high myopic then also it is better to visit doctor soon.
hope this helps you .
