What Causes Floaters And Bright Flashes Of Light In The Eye?

I am a 68 yr old white male and have been having floaters,strings and yesterday started having bright flashes of light in my right eye. My blood sugar was 162 the last time it was checked and it usually runs110-125. Ihad more bloodwork yesterday to recheck with fasting.

it is degenerative bodies floating in vetrious. there can be holes marginal tear or early detachment. consult retina surgeon.go for glycosylated hemoglobin. if diabetes confirmed then control by medication and diet restriction consult diabetologist it should be controlled.
