Hi. My 6 year old belly button has gone from being inside to being flat and sometimes sticking out. She was a very early premature baby who developed and had surgery to repair an inuinal hernia as an infant in 2007. She has never had a problem since. In the last 2 month I have noticed that her belly button has become mostly flat and occasionally sticks out. There is no pain or tenderness associated with it. She is also a very slim, almost skinny child with a good appetite. She is very active and fit. Is this something I should take her to see the gp about or nothng to worry about? Thank you
