My husband is in relatively good health. He is 51. Today after working out at the gym, he experienced a vision issue. It was about 30 mins after exercise. He had flashes of light in his right eye periphery. He also experienced holes or vision loss in the periphery. After eating and waiting 20 mins or so, he was still feeling weird and was slightly confused with what he was reading (emails). He was slowly reading out loud to me and it seemed he was having difficulty either reading or comprehending the words. Now he seems fine.
