What Causes Fever With Phlegm In Throat & Squint Eyes?

My 4 year old daughter has been running a fever for 3 days. We took her to her physician and they said that she has a virus. She is not eating much and I have been able to give her water and Gatorade. Over the past day she appears to have phlem in her throat. She just woke up and tried to vomit, but cant. She now says that her eyes hurt and she is squinting. Any suggestions?

I went through the history you have provided here. It seems from the history that your 4 year old daughter is having fever, throat pain, squint eyes....
These symptoms indicate acute respiratory tract infection.
Pain in the eye can be because of infection of the eyes.
This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics, decongestants, and anti-inflammatory drugs. The eye problem needs to be treated with prophylactic antibiotic eye drops. The squint can be because of stress and if it does not resolve needs squint evaluation later.
