My 8 year old girl, who's very healthy by the way, broke out with a fever about 24 hours ago. Today it reached 104 twice. We get it down by giving her Tylenol for children and a light warm bath but it bounced back up to 104 after a few hours. I'm concerned. She's still coherent but her head is hurting quite a bit and she's been really sleepy. Should I just keep monitoring her. She's my third child but I don't recall dealing with 104 degree fever for so long with my boys when they were younger.
