What Causes Feeling Of 'needles' On The Arm?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...last thurs night I burnt my hand (just above thumb in above wrist) on oven rack. I'm, always burning myself and thought nothing of it as it didn't look that bad. I ran it under cold water and just left it alone for a day and it wasn't covered up or protected because no skin was burnt off. However the next day i noticed it looked worse. I applied peroxide a few time and put antibiotic ointment and band aid. I didn't really think it was a big deal and that it would heal like all my other burns. Sun morn i saw that it was swollen when I took band aid off and it was oozing a bit. It wasn't that painful but I knew it was infected. Luckily, I live in Manhattan and I have an Urgent Care office that just opened right downstairs in my building. I went down they cleaned, applied burn creme (silver??) and gave me a script for Keflex which I started taking immediately 4x a day 250 mg 28 pills. I do not do vaccines so I didn't have a tetnus, although I've had a couple many years ago. In any case, the doc there said that taking the Keflex was probably more important. The wound is getting smaller and seems to be healing quickly now. yesterday afternoon my jaw was slightly sore on the same side of the wound but it went away (I have pain flare ups anyway so I didn't feel too alarmed. then my ankle top of foot hurt really bad (i had twisted it a bit trying to pull my boot off and I get muscle pain very easily so again i didn't think too much of it. Both symptoms went away except my foot's still slightly sore if I move it a certain way so i do think thats unrelated. But I put in some infor online and when i saw tetnus come up I became frantic and went to ER because I though I might already have it, or its incubating. The 2 Drs there told me that since those symptoms went away that theres no way they were from Tetnus as they would have gotten worse and certainly wouldn't have subsided. I asked if i could have a mild case and again they said its so unlikely as there is no mild case and if I in fact had Tetnus I'd know it without a doubt! They said that they would be more concerned about other types of infections but that it looked like it was healing well and not to worry and also suggested that those symptoms might very well just be nerve response to the injury, referred pain etc as the wound site is a very sensitive area thin skin and near alot of nerves. And also that Tetnus spasm/pain would start in jaw and not cause pain in lower extremities first. that made some sense as the 3rd day after the burn I also had a feeling of tiny needles on my forearm same side (as if my arm was touching a cactus plant). That also went away too.Could it be that injury trauma in such an area caused these symptoms on the same side? And since I do have this undiagnosed auto immune, or muscle nerve issue/disorder?? with pain flare ups muscle spasm etc for yrs now (Fibro, MS ??etc they don't know for sure) could it be that my body is just responding to the injury that way? Its now 7 days since I got the burn and 3 days since I'm on the antibiotics in me. I'm feeling fine but now I'm Frantic and getting myself crazy worrying I've got Tetnus after I looked it up and read all the info about how long it could take to show. Now I'm obsessed with worry and just waiting for symptoms to show. how long would it take before I can start feeling safe? And how likely is it that I have or will get Tetnus? I'll be traveling Sunday and Mon and I'm Worried Sick! Thank you, Sandra
