Hi,

Noted your history of feeling heart in ears specially at night, feels in jaw, both sides of neck, Doctor put you on Atenolol.
This is surely not at all normal.
The most probable cause I can think about are as follows:
Hypertension can be the cause.
Some sort of disease that affects the blood vessels wherein one get narrowing or so and thus the passing blood causing turbulence and thus causing the symptoms that you have.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor and get a referral for a Cardiologist as you need proper cardiac evaluation, examination and investigations.
Color doppler of the carotids is very important.
MRI-Angiography can give the cause.
Relevant blood tests to assist further.
Treatment of the cause will help you.
Second opinion of an ENT Surgeon can help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
