What Causes Facial Acne While On Estrogen?

I had a total hysterectomy 10 weeks ago. I was put on 1 mg of estrogen after surgery. About 4 weeks after surgery I started getting acne on my chin. At my post op appointment, the Dr. upped my estrogen to 2mg. I have been taking this for about 2 weeks. The acne will not go away. What can I do to get rid of this, it is very embarrassing?

Hi, I think you should stop taking estrogen. Acne can be due to that. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Also, if your ovaries have not been removed, you don't require estrogen. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any other query I will be happy to help.
