What Causes Face And Head Numbness After Gamma Knife Surgery?

I have a brain tumor. I had the gamma knife surgery. The tumor isn t shrinking but its not getting any larger. It s pushing on #5 nerve which was causing horrible pain in the mouth, Jaw and cheek. All of a sudden the right side of my face and head is numb. Can you explain this?

the symptoms you are suffering are related to compression that Tunis do to the fifth nerve (trigeminal)
In my opinion you should start tegretol (slowly increase the dosage till 600 mg)
