What Causes Extreme Weight Gain, Thyroid,diabetes And Insomnia?
Hi Im a 51 year old women who has been having variety of sytoms since 2012 extreme weight gain about 75 pounds in 1and a half years am being treated for thyroid and diabetes .have also had hysterectomy and gallbladder surgery and appendix taken out since 2012. Now have supraclavular swelling so bad look like linebacker for the rams also have a mass on left adrenal and lumps in my arms under the skin tired all the time insomnia achy .Ive been to my doctor and the skin doc and surgeon and endo dr. spine doc and they are saying theres nothing wrong with me I also have vitiligo with advanced hyperpigmentation and petchie can you give me any idea what this could be my mom had polycemia vera so I know that my vitiligo is assiociated with that jak 2 gene anything would be helpful.Im sorry but cant pay now.
Kindly check your thyroid levels. TSH, free T3 and T4 levels should be checked. Your Thyroxine dose should be adjusted so that your TSH levels are maintained between 0.4 to 4.5. Physical activity is also essential to reduce weight. Kindly check your blood sugar levels. Using metformin can help in reducing insulin resistance and weight reduction.
