General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Kindly check your thyroid levels. TSH, free T3 and T4 levels should be checked. Your Thyroxine dose should be adjusted so that your TSH levels are maintained between 0.4 to 4.5. Physical activity is also essential to reduce weight. Kindly check your blood sugar levels. Using metformin can help in reducing insulin resistance and weight reduction.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
