What Causes Extreme Sore Throat With A Black Spot?
hi there, I suffered about 4 weeks ago an extremely sore throat which came with an awful virus. I noticed a black spot on my throat, and it still hasn t gone. I also have had the human papilloma virus and had part of my cervix removed. could this be throat cancer?

Bacteria are the main causes mainly streptococci. Viral sore throat are generally mainly reddish. It is not exlcuded to have a coinfection with a virus and bacteria. A review by your doctor would be useful.
