What Causes Extreme Fluctuation In Body Temperature?

My husband (67) is having a problem with his body temp, he becomes very over-heated while doing nothing strenuous and now he is starting to have periods when he can t get warm enough. The over-heating has been going on for months. At the moment he has a bad cold and I think the shivering is connected to that? Are these symptoms cause for concern? Thank you

As per your history fluctuation of body temperature has several causes so first do a CBC with differential count,Thyroid function test and MRI scan.Check body temperature every 6 hours and record it upto 72 hours(3 days).(thanks)
