What Causes Excessive Sweating, Night Sweats And Thyroid Nodule?

47 y/o female in generally good health, been experiencing excessive sweating, esp after showering, night sweats, fatigue, have a lump in adams apple area and confirmed thyroid nodule. Also having eye irritation and some weight loss, although I have a lap band. My mom and her sister were just diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and Graves respectively. First of all, it's worthy to mention about your menstrual cycles. Your age points towards the possibility of perimenopausal hot flushes. Definitely you can do thyroid function test as there is a likelihood of graves as you have a strong family history. Check thyroid function and FSH. Nodule should be evaluate using Ultrasound thyroid and FNAC if indicated.
