What Causes Excessive Blinking Of The Eyes?

My 7 year old grandson has been blinking both eyes constantly. He also makes a sound when he is just sitting down. His weight is a bit over the normal, but his health seems to be good besides the fact. Should he see a doctor asap? Please help. Thank u

it can be ticks and some time it is related to anxiety control his anxiety his ocular muscle function should be tested. can see a eye doctor for examination and advise on treatment. can take the advise of dietician and take advise to reduce his weight.should lead a active life style. life style changes is recomanded.
