Dear Madam, Welcome to HCM, Sorry to hear that your husband has developed complications at a very young age. But do not worry, with your help we can put him back on track. I am not sure how effectively your diabetologist has counselled your husband regarding Diet, Exercise, Weight loss and Medications. I feel you need to follow up with someone who will patient sit and talk to your husband regarding these rather than simple jotting down dosages on paper. From your side you can keep constant watch on his diet, encourage him for physical activity. Please get a glucometer and monitor his blood sugars frequently for adequate dose adjustment. Since he is young , with good blood sugar control his E.D might respond well to our treatment. Hope i have answered your query Dr.Riyaz Sheriff
