General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your query. If heart rate is high and there is high blood pressure then beta blockers like Metoprolol will be helpful. But the choice of drug depends on other factors like whether dysrhythmias or heart failure is present and classification. If you upload the reports then it will be more helpful to understand the problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad BN,
