I am 11 weeks post partum and had a c section. My liver enzymes have been elevated since I gave birth and my ob determined I had post partum toxemia. Hi, I have gone through your question. Elevated liver enzymes 11 weeks post partum can be due to 1. post partum hypertensive disorder which may cause liver dysfunction
2. Hepatitis due to any cause
3. Side effect of the drug.
I would suggest you to consult a hepatologist to get properly examined, investigated and treated.
It can be chronic hepatitis also and you may need liver biopsy to diagnose it.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
