What Causes Elevated Levels Of SGPT And SGOT?

hi doc i am 38 yr old woman suffering from arthritis its been4 yrs taking arava10 ,hcqs,medrol2, folitrax inj weekly , calten d ,fe-furt daily and when i got my blood test done i have elevated levels of sgot 54 and 107 sgpt cud u plz tell me the reasons

thanks for posting query at hcm.

seems like its drug induced liver injury. however, viral causes of hepatitis maybe ruled out.
present values are not very concerning.

monitor values every 3 to 6 months,
if values are increasing and viral causes are ruled out, then you may need to stop/change the current medications by discussing with treating physician.
