Hello,

Cardiomegaly is a condition that you do not want to worry about, it happens a lot in old patients and it does not affect their lives.

But your mother may need to do ECHO imaging to the heart to know how effective the heart is working.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
