What Causes Electrical Shock Sensation Behind Ear At The Base Of Skull?
I've experienced a feeling of electrical shop that starts behind my right ear and seems to be at the base of my skull. They are painful, but short lived. They travel over the top of my head and down my righ arm. They started in puberty and have continued on and off all my life. I am now 64 and they are occuring every day, sometimes, several times a day. Is this stress?

is it shooting like pain?
what are triggering factors?
associated feelings and symptoms with it?
etc
such details would help.
well, stress can lead to variety of symptoms, however they are generally a group of symptoms rather than a single symptom. In such cases one need to establish a potent source of stress, which could be either psychological or physical.
I would advice to consult a general physician for preliminary reason, as with proper physical examination he can establish a definitive clinical condition, based on which a further specialist can be approached.
