What Causes Eating Difficulty After Nissan Fundoplication?
I had a Nissan fundoplication one year ago. I have had the stomach virus for two days and threw up violently. I am still unable to eat and have no desire for food. I have drank a small amount of Gatorade and am getting concerned. Stomach is so very sore. Could I have torn something from my surgery?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It may not be the viral infection but it could be dyspepsia. It is the self-limiting condition and may not need any treatment but vomiting need care and for that I would suggest to try tab Domperidone. It is not something torn inside the abdomen cavity and no need to worry about this.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
