What Causes Ear Pain?

hello, my left ear hurts and I'm not sure if it's an infection or not. The pain isn't at all bad I barley even feel anything but I'm just curious. The other day I was listening to my ipod touch and I never listen to my ipod loud but when I was cleaning the screen I accidentally pulled the volume up to as loud as it could get and the headphones were only in my ears for like a second and I turned it down immediately so I was wondering if it may be damaged or infected? and I don't have any trouble hearing either.

Hello.
I dont think you have any infection or any ear problem.
As i see you like the music and most at all you like the headphones, so the reason that you feel that kind of discomfort or pain in your ears is because of TMJ ( Temporomandibular joint) . Sometime they get inflammated because of the Headphones or the earphones too.
As advice i can say that you should not have very tight the headphone :)
Wish you all the best...
