What Causes Ear Pain With Swelling?

Hi, I am using Otosporin Ear Drops since yesterday afternoon, my symptons seem to have worsen, I'm also taking Melfen for pain relief. I was with my gp yesterday and she suggested having the ear cleaned out on Friday, don't know if the condition is to get worse before it gets better but its a lot worse thise morning. Thank you

Hello,

Ear pain may be due to a middle ear infection or eustachian tube block etcetera. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet Alday RD twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
