What Causes Ear Pain After Tooth Extraction?

I got a tooth pulled on Monday, It is now Wednesday. The tooth was a upper far back tooth which had infected the roots . I ve already had my wisdom teeth out several years ago. Question is, after having this done, my left ear if hurts if I push on it like you do after getting off a airplane to get your ears to pop, is this normal after having a tooth pulled?

Hi,
I have gone through your query ; it suggests that pain in your ear is due to the referred otalgia caused by common nerve supply of the tooth and your ear.

just take a painkiller for ear pain.

thanks
