What Causes Ear Pain After Jumping Into The Water?
I jumped in a pool and my ear hit the water first. I had immediate and intense ear pain. I ve thought it might just be water in my ears but I poured alcohol in both ears and got the water out and they still hurt unexplainably bad. What can I do to fix it?
Hello. Good day. Thanks for writing to HCM You need to see an ENT surgeon and get your ear examined. It could be something to do with your ear drum that is causing such inexplicable pain. The trauma of falling on your ear coupled with the pressure difference is the probable cause. Please take an analgesic like diclofenac. It will help. Plug your ear with some cotton and visit the ENT doc. Wishing you good health. Please hit thanks and rate this answer if you have found it helpful. Warm regards, Dr Praveen
