I had a mastoidectomy 15 years ago and ever since have to get regular check ups with an ENT specialist to have my ear cleaned out. I went yesterday and he cleaned it out and said there was a lot of build up of wax upwards in the cavity. After he cleaned it he gave me some ear drops to hopefully loosen the wax so he could get more out easier when i see him again next week. However, since then i have had watery/bloody discharge, what could this be? do you think its from the amount cleaning he did or could it be something worse?? thank you
