What Causes Formation Of Excessive Ear Wax?

I made a New Years resolution to start wearing my hearing aids. Knowing that wax has been an issue and feeling the hearing aids weren't helping that much, I commenced to attempt ear wax removal with ear wax removal kits and DEBROX. My left ear continues to be blocked and ear wax coming out is minimal. What might be the issue?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have formation of excess ear wax which is mainly due to ear infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid touching and pricking it with any object. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin. Put otogesic drops on ear. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get otoscopic examination done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Apply warm compresses. Maintain proper hygiene.
