What Causes Dysphagia With An Earlobe Lymph Node Swollen With Pain?

Hi, I am a 13 year old female. I am 5 5 , and I weigh 105 lbs. The right side of my throat hurts when I swallow, and the pain goes up into my ear. When I looked into the mirror, the right side above my tonsils was very red. There is also a little bump about the same color. I have never had anything like this before. I am running a low fever, and there is a swollen lymph node just behind my earlobe. Lately I have been fatigued and tired. I have no other symtoms of a cold or anything. Does anyone have any idea of what it might be?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You may be suffering from acute pharyngitis with eustachian tube block. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625mg twice a day for five days. Do salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
