Hello - I have been suffering from dry, scaly eye lids for the past few months and now its getting worse. Is there any cream or any other treatment I could get? Thanks.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

It seems from the history that you are having dry scaly eyelids.
This indicates inflammation of eyelid called as blepharitis.
The treatment of this condition is by use of lid scrubs and antibiotic eye ointment.
Blepharitis usually runs a long course and treatment needs to be titrated depending on the severity of the condition.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
