What Causes Dryness In The Eyes?

I have very much dry eyes and due to dryness white deposition has occured in my eyelids. Doctor has prescribed me moxigram kt eye drop and eyemist forte. But on use of moxigram kt eye drop I'm having irritation and burning sensation in my eye. If I apply eyemist forte everything cools down. Is it normal to have irritation and burning sensation on use of moxigram KT?

white deposition on eyelids is suggestive of seborrhoeic dermatitis.Following would help
1) eye ointment zaha(azithromycin) twice a day for 15 days
2) warm compress 2 to 3 times
3) maintain lid hygiene
4) take treatment if scalp dandruff if any

If there is no improvement with this then there will be need to start topical stetoid under supervision

Only dryness will not cause white deposition.

Ketorolac in moxigram kt causes irritation and burning in eyes which lasts for few seconds to few min .

since you have been diagnosed ad dry eye , ketolorac (moxigram kt) is better to be avoided

hope this helps.
