What Causes Dizziness, blurry Vision And Tiredness?
I have been feeling very tired lately. I sleep about 6 hours a night and when I get off of work I have no energy and probably sleep another 2-3 hours a day. I have noticed that I have had more and more headaches lately and began to bruise really easily. The scariest part I've began to notice is that everytime I stand up...I become dizzy and my vision becomes blurry. I was just wondering if you had any suggestions on what could be causing this.
The symptoms that you are describing could be due to various physical problems like thyroid, diabetes, nutritional deficiency or due to stress and other mental problems. I will advice that you get your basic investigations done like CBC, LFT ( for liver), RFT( for Kidney) RBS (sugar) ,TSH (for thyroid) ,level of Vitamin D, B12 and folic acid. These tests are to find any common reason for your symptoms that are easily treatable. Also get your BP checked while sitting and standing as what you described at the end is postural hypotension for which you need to take more fluids and get up slowly from a sitting posture. If additionally you experience stress, sleep disturbance, worries, sad mood, loss of interest most of the time then you may need to consult a psychiatrist as these may be symptoms of depression. Hope you can get your basic tests done and get back to me for further management plan.
