What Causes Dizziness With A History Of Heart And Lung Disease?

my mother is 84 with a history of heart and lung disease she is on permanent oxygen and has begun suffering dizzy spells when she is active...simply walking to the next room can bring this on . her aortic valve was replaced 4 years ago, she has a pacemaker and at last check in november her valve was functioning well and pacemaker has 6 years battery life left. She recently was hospitalised with pluerisy but has been at home living with me for 2 weeks. Her doctor says we must expect an amount of dizziness as she is old and frail but this is debilitating for her and I wonder if you have any suggestions.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
As your doctor rightly said, considering her age and all the heart conditions she has, she won't be as energetic as a person who is say 60 years old and with no cardiac complications.
In fact apart from some casual walk in the room or outside with support is the only activity she should be doing and that too with some effort.
Age has its effect on everyone, don't worry too much.
hope your query is answered, Thank you.
