What Causes Dizziness While Having High BP In A Breast Cancer Survivor?

My mother is a 76 year old woman with a history of high blood pressure she is also a stage 3 breast cancer survivor for two days her blood pressure readings were ave 197 over 78 her dr told her to double up her meds and see how that works for two weeks she has been experiencing dizzyness that diagnosis was vertigo with a therapy prescription that has not been done yes could the two be connected and should we look into something else as a problem ?

Hello,

Vertigo and hypertension both can cause dizziness and dizziness. As of now you can take drugs like betahistine and continue anti-hypertensives to control blood pressure. If symptoms persist, better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
