What Causes Dizziness, Light-headedness And Loss Of Balance?
my question is: Every so often, I get light headed and woozy. The feeling lasts for about 2 minutes. I can t seem to walk a straight line and lately, I ve been falling. My PP does not have an answer for me. I m concerned for when I drive. Can you help at all?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dizziness, light-headedness and loss of balance . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sinusitis , ear infection , condition like meniere's disease or Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) . In your the reason for the symptoms is BPPV . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order videonystagmography , MRI or examination of ear with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug along with antibiotics like gentamycin , anti inflammatory and may recommend procedure like canalith repositioning procedure . For now do not bend forward and drink green tea thrice a day . Avoid bending forward and take healthy diet .
