What Causes Dizziness And Nausea In BP Patient?

I was diagnosed with hypertension but it is controlled with lisinopril and lasix (3 a day). I recently started with dizziness and nausea. My dr noticed that my legs were retaining fluid so he increased lasix from 2 to 3 a day. Blood pressure normal. Other symptoms are no energy, fullness after eating and dull headache

HI,welcome to HCM.
Swelling of feet in presence of longstanding hypertension point to the onset of congestive heart failure.Dizziness and nausea in your case can be due to the use of lasix which can contribute to electrolyte imbalances.I advice you to having a 2 dimensional echo which can accurately quantify the cardiac out and degree of heart failure.Salt restriction to less than 4 gm/day is advised.Drugs like inotropic agents like digioxin can help to maintain the cardiac out in CHF.Consult your doctor for further queries.
Thank you.
