What Causes Dizziness And Mild Headache?

Hi. I have been experiencing a light headache with dizziness/lightheadedness and sometimes feel a little off balance for s couple weeks. Not sure if I am not wearing my glasses enough and need a new prescription and that is causing issues or if is something else. Appetite has been ok and no fevers. Any ideas? Teresa

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to low blood pressure or an eye disorder.

Coming to this point, I would recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure values in the next days and performing also some blood lab tests:
-a complete blood count for anemia
- blood electrolytes for possible imbalances
- thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction.

Consulting with an ophthalmology is necessary too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
