What Causes Discomfort In The Chest With Pain In Elbow And Arm?

I m a 55 yr old female who has been experiencing chest discomfort, pains in shoulder blade area, elbow area of left arm and few times chest pains in far left and side of chest, previously had fullness as if I had just eaten. family doctor says it is nothing

I appreciate your concern regarding the radiating chest pain.
In view of your age and the typical description of chest discomfort or chest pains some times associated with pain in the shoulder blade or the left arm, I am of the opinion that the at least ECG should be done to rule out problem arising from the heart.
Then the possibility of chest pain could be due to musculoskeltal pain in the chest wall itself or the referred pain due to acidity related stomach problems.
You are therefore advised to undergo ECG, routine blood investigations like fasting blood sugar, cholesterol, triglyceride, etc.
