What Causes Difficulty In Sitting And Standing?

hi Doc, its been going on for a while I cannot sit or stand for more than 10 minutes, I have the lie down or sit of a very soft Sofa with a good recline to be able to sit for longer periods. I work from home and I end up lying down on my stomach while working as I am unbale to sit on a regular office chair for more than 10 mins.. what could be wrong?

Hi,
If you are elderly then your problem suggesting of having some problem in your spinal vertebrae.
There might be having some degenerative changes in lumbo-sacral vertebrae giving this problem.
There might be having osteomalacia or osteoporosis.
Go for x-ray lumbo-sacral spines to confirm.
After report go for treatment accordingly.
Go for back extension exercise regularly.
Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements.
Ok and take care.
