What Causes Diarrhea While On Griseofulvin?
I have been taking griseofulvin micro for approximately 7 weeks, 500 mg, twice daily. I have had diarrhea for 8 days now. I ve never experienced diarrhea for this long a time and am wondering if it s connected to the medication. If it is, I will cease taking the drug, but would side effects begin this far into the regimen?

It isn't that common for it. It is an anti-fungal. Generally, anti-bacterial change the gut bacteria but no antifungals. In any case, probiotics and or Pepto-Bismol might be helpful. It could also be a coincidence.
