Hello,

Since when he suffering from diarrhea? Ulcerative colitis itself may cause diarrhea.

Other possibilities like side effects to Basalazine drug or it may be due to levothyroxine dose excess or secondary infection with salmonella or shigella etc.

Get it done stool examination and microscopy if necessary colonoscopy.

Please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
