General & Family Physician 's  Response
Allegra M contains fexofenadine and montelukast. Montelukast can causes diahhrea as a side effect. But it is difficult to say whether your diarrhea is due to fresh infection or due to montelukast.
Advice
1.     Stop Allegra – M
2.     Take Allegra 180 mg – one tablet daily per oral for 7 days
3.     Tablet Ciplox – TZ – one tablet every 12 hours for 3 days
4.     Electral powder – mix in 1 liter of water and drink frequently
5.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of water daily
If diarrhea worsens despite above treatment then go to hospital for further management.
After subsidence of diarrhea if your symptoms of allergy are not cured then
1.     Take Allegra 180 mg daily per oral
2.     Tablet Dexona 0.5 mg every 12 hours for 7 days
Thanks
