Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain loose motions is commonly seen in kids who are having teeth erupting can suffer diarrhoea.

Teething mostly start at early age between 3 months and 12 months and by the age of three years all the milk tooth are erupted with exception with few kids of having an early or delayed eruption of a few month can happen.

During teething as the kid may experience a feeling of itching and soreness in the gums the kids tends to put their fingers in the mouth, also any other toy or object that they could find..

This leads to carrying of infection in their stomach thereby causing loose motions.. Some kids also encounter mild fever.

But in case of severe diarrhoea or loose motions and fever a consultation with a paediatrician is must..

I would suggest you to consult a paediatric dentist known as PEDODONTIST and get evaluated that whether it is really due to teething or some other cause.

As long standing loose motions in kids can be harmful.

If you find your child to be carrying his fingers and things in mouth you can give him cooled teethers by keeping them in refrigerator that will ease his gum inflammation and decrease urge of taking any thing in mouth..

Feed him with enough of fluids preferrably cold to prevent dehydration.

Give him chilled hard fruits like apple to chew.

Any medical treatment can be given only after correct diagnosis,

Hope your query is solved..

Thanks and regards..
