Hi, I have been having diarrhia for the past 2 days. Today, however, I had a lot of gas and abdominal pain. Together with the gas, a clear mucus comes out. Sometimes it comes even without pushing -- just like I am peeing -- my underware is very wet. What can it be?

The given symptom of diarrhea could be protozoa infection, condition can be managed with tablet Metronidazole twice in day for five days, and for abdomen pain tablet Dicyclomine with Paracetamol can be tried, it is advisable to take care in diet, avoid taking spicy food, oily food, have semi-solid food, protozoa infection is pretty annoying so need to be patience, medicine will work for sure.
