i am 25 years old, 5 ft 7 inch 88 kg. i was weighing 94 kgs and i controlled my diet and in one month i reduced and now i am 88 kgs. i used to do strength training and also running in the morning. i started consuming ON 100% gold standard whey protein isolate three days before. i used to take 0.75 scoop in the night and 1 scoop (around 30 gms) in morning after my workout. today as other days i came after workout and drink whey protein shake as usual and do some gardening and all. after 2 hours i ate spinach (almost 2 cups, boiled). i didnt eat anything more. after half an hour my stomach started to feel something and when i go to toilet i have some loose motion. not like full water. it was like gum. but after that i am not ok. my stomach is now also like a bottled soda. i ate boiled rice with dal now. didnt go to toilet after that. i dont feel so. but i feel like gas inside. can u pls reply what will be the problem.??

Hi,
These all symptoms could be due to dyspepsia, gastroenteritis,IBS or inflammatory bowel disease, etc.
You should undergo certain blood investigations with urine and stool examination for R/M and ova or ultrasound of abdomen.
Treatment is mainly depend on the underlying cause but symptomatic treatment can be given.
You may require antibiotics (quinolones, antiprotozoals or amoxycillin derivatives) and anti helminthic (albendazole) with proton pump inhibitors and prebiotics, probiotics and digestive enzymes with only liquid diet for couple of days.
You must consult your gastroenterologist for detailed medical history and thoroughly clinical examination and get it diagnosed first.
Thanks.
