What Causes Diarrhea After Consuming Alcohol While On Crestor?

I just started taking crestor generic rosuvastatin a week ago. Last night I went out to eat and had 2 glasses of wine with dinner. This morning I felt blah and now have minor diarrhea this afternoon. I know alcohol and the statin don t mix, but the wine was at 7 pm and the crestor not until 9:45. I also take a multi vitamin in the AM which contains 20 mg niacinamide. Do you think this is a reaction to the alcohol or niacin or possibly just coincidence....
