What Causes Delayed Periods With Pain And Burning During Urination?

So I am late for my period and I had intercourse around two months ago and now just this week it s becoming unbearable to pee.. It hurts so much and there s like a burning feeling. Well today I started lightly bleeding but I don t think it s enough for my period. And now there s a tiny white string in the toilet. I m really late, and my periods are never light. What could be wrong with me?

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
If your menses have been late and you had unprotected intercourse, then you need to rule out pregnancy anyhow with a urine pregnancy test. The painful urination is symptomatic to urinary tract infection which you may have acquired during intercourse. But rule out pregnancy first.
