What Causes Delayed Periods But Cramping Like Periods After Having IUI 3 Times?

My wife and are trying to get pregnant. She is due for her doctor appt. Tuesday. She has been taking Chlomin (spelling?) and we have done an IUI (3 times). She has had some spotting and cramping, but thinks it is just her period. We did have 3 follicles, so I am optimistic, but she is not, due to the past few times not working. What do you think the odds are we are pregnant? Not sure if this can be answered or not, but thought it worth a shot.
