What Causes Delayed Periods And Brown Vaginal Spotting?

Hi, My periods were due two weeks ago. They did not come. My pregnancy test came negative (urine test). This week on Monday I had dark brown spotting (a lot of it) just once. And since then I have severe cramps. My lower body is aching as well as my shoulder blades and back. Its Friday today. My urine test for pregnancy is still negative. I have been taking Tylenol every 4 hours but the pain is still there.

You are having problem of delayed period with pain also

Pregnancy after two week of delayed period can be effectively ruled out by urine card test

So pregnancy is ruled out here...

Stress, anxiety, obesity, prolonged fasting can lead delayed period

But as pain is associated, PID like infective etiology should be ruled out

Investigate with USG pelvis for that

Per speculum and pelvic examination also to be done

If needed thyroid, diabetes and other Hormonal imbalance also need to be checked

Consult gynecologist for examination and discuss all these
